Editorial - December 2008-January 2009 - part 1 of 1

by Mike McNamee Published 01/01/2009

As this is being written, the Convention is looming large on the horizon. If you have not already booked in then it is time that you do! We are plunging into a recession and times are about to get tough, so you need to be better, faster and more slick than your rivals. The strange thing about weddings is the time lag between setting the date and the ceremony. For this reason your 2009 diary might look quite healthy, it is 2010 that is going to require the greater effort. What better place to start than the Convention, gather every scrap of advice from the many seminars to prepare yourself for the fray. Learn better marketing skills, polish your technique, your clients are going to need something tempting to get them moving! See you there!

This issue contains a great deal of work from lecturers scheduled to attend the Convention. We received a huge amount of material, for which we are most grateful. If we have not used it yet, please bear with us, not a word will be wasted!
