Welcome to our Christmas edition, we wish you and your loved ones seasonal greetings and hope you have a happy and prosperous New Year. This has been quite a remarkable 12 months in the history of the SWPP. A new logo adorns the front cover of the largest and most heavily supported Professional Imagemaker yet. We are grateful to our friends in the trade who have supported us in increasing measure and who have also rallied to the call with their support for the Convention in January. The success of last year's Convention was going to be a difficult act to follow but it really has blossomed beyond our wildest expectations We look forward to a really spectacular event. The ever-expanding membership has been served by the hard working team at Head Office who have dealt with an ever-accelerating flow of new membership applications. We have a new and expanded qualifications structure, which is still being developed but already, includes the first UK qualification specific to Digital Imaging. The seminar and lecture circuit has been expanded and developed and already includes a return visit from Bambi Cantrell (for an already heavily subscribed residential course), Malcolm Matheison from Australia, Rick and Barbara Ferro, Mitche Graf,Monte Zucker and Dave Newman from the USA. If that is not enough we have a number of international visitors at the January Convention along with 30 other seminars - 2005 is looking even better than 2004!
There are 15 days to get ready for The Society of Photographers Convention and Trade Show at The Novotel London West, Hammersmith ...
which starts on Wednesday 15th January 2025
