The lifetime connections I have with so many clients is one of the pleasures I most cherish. It says something about the quality of our photography and the client service we provided. We also worked on the principle that the client is always right even when they are wrong and that whatever the problem we fix it, pronto. Fortunately this was extremely rare and usually an order misunderstanding.
Growing a lifetime connection with clients should be a goal for any photographer seeking to create successful business. Apart from the fact it is cheaper to keep a client than to find a new one (up to ten times the cost), the potential referrals are priceless. When a new client comes by and tells us that an old client sent them to us you know you are doing something right.
