But it's not all weddings and judging for Richard this year, he's finding some time to take his camera travelling too. 'I've got some really great jobs coming up this summer ranging from the Gumball 3000 rally to photographing skateboarding in Spain!' Photography isn't the easiest way to make a living, but it you persevere in the early years of a career the time invested and endless passion can really pay off. 'Anyone can be a good photographer, anyone can win competitions and gain qualifications' Richard says enthusiastically. 'All you need is to really want it - is stronger than anything else. The Societies give us all some great opportunities, you just have to get involved, get off your computer and get out there. That's what I did.'
