Use your Illusion

The second major new wall product from One Vision Imaging is its 'Illusion' wall display. This again has been a fantastic success for the firm and is described as a true photographic print with an anti-scratch seal applied to its surface, mounted on a bevelled piece of MDF. This then sits on top of a piece of clear acrylic which is then framed. "We add a backboard to match the central piece so it appears as if the central block is going through the acrylic, which is finished off beautifully,"

Derek Poulton adds. Again there are coloured frame mouldings to choose from - black, white, red, yellow, blue, pink in this case - while size options range from an 8x8-inch image with a 12x12-inch frame, all the way up to a 20x20-inch image with a 26x26-inch frame.

"We're finding that the product is appealing to cutting-edge photographers - it's a little different, so helps those who want to stand out from the crowd, plus it's a product that suits the modern studios.

We've also had noticeable interest from hairdressers choosing it for their salon images to be displayed in a 'hip and trendy' way. I can see this product heading into the commercial world - particularly the multiaperture version, which offers eight or nine different configurations. Again photographers can upload their images straight to the website and have them placed on multiple blocks on the acrylic.
