The audit statistics of the board media are excellent all round.
The gamut volumes of both surfaces were high and both produced better than average error statistics. While all the statistical parameters were good it was the HiGAM sets which stood out, with only fractions of a point lost to the chroma (saturation) and just a couple of points of brightness lost. Both materials would therefore make very accurate reproductions of fine art using the brighter acrylic painting medias.
EZ Media
This range is positioned as a budget selection although there is no reason to expect any drop in quality. Some of the papers are a little lighter and the coatings are different in some cases as far as we can tell. Even so they represent a useful addition to medias available for the Fujifilm LFP system.
SUMMARY
Regardless of your choice you can be assured that all the media provided by Fujifilm will perform up to the standards that you expect from such a famous name, their popularity in the studios is not without foundation!
