Although I've been more than 30 years shooting weddings, I've almost never considered it as work.

Maybe that's my key to success and that's certainly the aspect I want to hand down to my son who shoots with me, as well as the new generation of photographers.

Every weekend, every new bride I shoot, it feels like it's the first time. I do not plan anything at all, because every time I visit another home, have to shoot another face, another wedding dress, a new family!

I mostly shoot traditional Greek weddings. Things can go crazy in a variety of ways! But all this craziness, all those people gathering, speaking and singing loud, crying from happiness, dancing like they've never danced before - all those things I adore!

But, on the other hand, all that craziness, and the anxiety you have to deal with as a photographer, is a risk and has a high level of difficulty, when shooting events. It's a challenge, being able to capture everything, and at the same time being almost invisible and very discreet. It's a challenge to work in a crowded environment, as in the church during the ceremony, and get yourself awardwinning reportage images and deliver to your clients various aspects of what's happening during this process!
