TPO from the Click Group

In a nutshell: A photographer's virtual admin assistant.

An 8.5.2 update of The Photographer Organiser (TPO) with minor fixes and improvements has just been released by the Click Group, which tells us it's currently working on some major new features that all current subscribers will receive completely free of charge.

Specifically designed for photographers, the thrust of Windows and Mac compatible TPO is that this is a virtual assistant to enable you to keep on top of existing clients, invoices and paperwork, and thus spend more time shooting the pictures that earn you money.

The program allows users to set up automatic reminders to follow up enquiries, create workflow steps as bullet points with dates, and despatch invoices at a single click. Another time saver is the integrated postcode/address look-up: just ask a customer for their house number and postcode and TPO will automatically fill in the full address.

Other advantages over a simple notepad and pen are that TPO can keep track of customers' full sales and correspondence history and will additionally provide marketing help, with integrated text messages, emails, letters and labels. The package lets you identify your best clients and provides the tools to market directly to them.

It's worth noting that while there is the option to use the software as a standalone package, it can also be networked for the larger studios.

Finally, TPO is available in two versions to match all types of business budgets and requirements - including a free (but feature limited) version.

The Professional version is available at just £30 per month (for Click Bump2Baby members or £45 per month for non members), with an initial licence fee of £100, which includes all your support and updates for no extra charge. Subscribers receive the added benefit of free telephone, email and remote log-on support, as well as a support FAQ website.
