As well as partnering with One Vision for print fulfilment, Zenfolio has recently added a video hosting feature for photographers' websites so that HD video can be added. Further new additions include drop down menus, a new up-loader and even an iPad app.

"We release new and exciting features on average five or six times a year," adds Nataly, indicating that there's no excuse for your site or your services to appear outdated. With point and click customisation possible, no knowledge of coding is required, and secure storage for photos and video is unlimited if going for a £50+ package. To get started there's the riskfree option of a fully functioning trial account that allows you to keep all settings and photos if upgrading to one of Zenfolio's paid-for plans.

A further option comes in the shape of OnlinePictureProof.com, with each of its accounts offering photographers a completely editable website, online picture proofing and sales solution. Keeping things simple, it operates a one plan, one price structure of £20 + VAT per month. Some of the key features of 'OPP' include the ability to upload hundreds of images with a single click, no time limit on online galleries, the ability to upload an album and begin selling within 15 minutes, plus a card-based marketing feature to bring new customers to you.

The package comes with a free professional-look website, or photographers can seamlessly integrate the proofing and sales aspect of OPP with an existing site. As with the other options here a no obligation free trial is offered with a 30-day duration.

Boasting of both a free two-week trial and the fact that either amateur or pro photographers can have a professionally designed website from just £40, impressively not just per month but per year, is Paddington-based Clikpic.com. This service offers a range of purpose-built template designs and the ability to upload up to 3,000 images - with the Super Pro package at £180 per annum. Otherwise there's the ability to upload up to 150 images at the £40 rate, which also doesn't stint on features and includes a shopping basket facility. You can opt for your own domain name, and integration with PayPal for online sales, with self-editing of your website a quick and easy process via the simple-to-follow admin system.

Another outfit that does it all for the photographer is York-based Phosys, which offers website design, online proofing and e-commerce packages. Like certain rivals there's the choice of a completely bespoke website design or a range of pre-designed templates. A 'Classic Template' package via Phosys.com costs as little as £25 + VAT per month with a 12-month minimum term, with most people apparently going for the more expansive 'Classic Professional' package for £35 + VAT, both offering a slight discount if paying for 12 months in one go.
