Who today is leading the way in creative social photography and why?
There are many up and coming photographers some who are little know that are producing better work than those with huge marketing budgets.

I don’t follow other photographers because I am always focusing on building my business and my unique style. I am always interested in new techniques that are being developed so I do keep an eye on time-lapse video developments and inspiring landscape photographers as apposed to social photographers.

If you could pick just FIVE seminars (other than your own of course!) to attend at The Societies of Photographers Convention whose workshops would you attend?
Audrey Kelly - Creating Fine Art images
Sanjay Jogia - Evolve or evaporate
David Burlison - Integrating drones into your photography
Kenny Kim - Destination wedding part 2 : pricing, travelling
Jenny johnston - Understand how facebook & instagram can be used to drive your business

What do you think will be the next big thing in the industry?
Video is emerging and becoming more essential for photographers to consider.

Would you want your own children to take up the reins of your empire (or have they)?
I have two boys who help with my video editing, time-lapse movies and any filming side of the business, keeping updated with websites. I’d love them to take a more active role in my business as they get old enough.

Your plans for the next five years?
I want to keep growing my work in the direction that suits me and my lifestyle. For me it is about constantly shifting and adapting my business to suit my life as well as earning an income for the household. I am looking at producing 3 books in the next few years, several solo exhibitions as well as shooting more and more elopements on various Scottish islands. Exploring new places and spending plenty more time working in the landscape as well as developing new skills within time-lapse and video.
