Ever one to practise what he preaches, when Charlie undertook a recent photo shoot with the reigning Miss England, Charlotte Holmes (CCC has been a long-time sponsor of the Miss England competition) it was naturally a Click Background that he used in his studio, and its effectiveness can be seen on the cover of Imagemaker this month.

Celebrated photographer and trainer Damian McGillicuddy can vouch for the fact that CCC listens to feedback, because he was one of those invited to work with the backgrounds prior to their launch. "I was really impressed by their quality and by the depth of choice that was being offered," he says. "My suggestion was that they might think about adding a Gaussian Blur to put the background slightly out of focus, which would make them less distracting. CCC listened to my comments and incorporated that idea and it showed that they really were interested in getting things right."

Another to appreciate the Click Background range is John Denton, a Fellow of the SWPP and a photographer who specialises in the genres of art nude, fashion and bridal imagery. "I first started using Click Backgrounds last year," he says, "and I love them. I operate from a small studio out in the wilds of East Yorkshire and as I shoot a lot of boudoir and nude imagery it's great to be able to hang a quality backdrop on the wall and to vary the look in an instant.
