As well as providing the means to build your own site from scratch inexpensively in a short timeframe, it has also been screening 'webinars' for years; system-introduction seminars which are designed to get photographers on the right track and starting to sell their images. An added bonus with theimagefile is that commissions are not charged on any sales photographers make from their site/s through their own direct payment gateway (PayPal, Worldpay, SagePay, Realex and Authorize.net).

A further 'carrot' is that you can get your own website up and running from as little as one shiny round pound. This will give you the account for 60 days, so you're able to try everything out. World Pay stores your card details, so that if you then want to use automated fulfilment, you can trade using any one of eight different labs partnered with theimagefile: Sim Imaging, One Vision Imaging, Loxley Colour Mega Labs, DS Colour Labs, Folio Albums, Photobox, Eye Candy, GMS in Dublin plus, of course, your own self-fulfilment option if preferred.

Once you decide theimagefile is for you, it's then from £4.99 + VAT per month for the Entry-level package, which enables unlimited uploads into the stock library and up to 500 images outside of the stock library. The next step up is the Standard package at £14.99 + VAT, which raises the file quota to 2,500 images, and the Pro package is £24.99 + VAT which takes it up to 50GB and steadily increases capacity by 10GB each year. As it stands, theimagefile's websites are customisable to the nth degree, and with 600 fonts to choose from it reckons you could spend all day deciding on a font if you so wished.
