Colour Negatives - NO NEGATIVES ON NEGATIVES
This is a manually corrected scan from a very difficult negative that had been badly processed. The massive blue cast was zeroed by the FS 4000, leaving only a minor amount of manual correction. The orange mask correction from the inter-frame margin is certainly one of the great strengths of this scanner.

RESOLVING MATTERS
This is a scanner that delivers its optical resolution right up to what it says on the tin. The images are a tiny snippet from 2000ppi and 4000ppi scans. The 4000ppi scan is sharper and more detailed than the 2000ppi. There are issues of file size with such a high specification scanner and you can easily use an awful lot of hard drive space if you don't think about your requirements before you set the scanner resolution - a nice problem to have though, the power is there when you need it!
