It's worth bearing in mind that distributor Tetenal's wide product portfolio includes Tetenal SpectraJet inkjet media - which Craig flags up as an "unsung hero. People who do use it love it" - plus the more recognisable brands such as Ilford Galerie, for which Tetenal is official UK distributor, along with Hahnemuhle, Epson media, plus Kodak Professional papers.

Tetenal is also an Epson Specialist Partner, so can handle queries about which media works best with which printer.


In terms of favourite products that are popular with its photographer customers, Tetenal flags up the Ilford Gold Fibre Silk and Gold Mono Silk papers as some of its best sellers. "Ilford also does a high gloss paper with a distinctive finish," adds Craig. "Kodak have a couple of metallic papers which are proving very popular too," he adds.

In addition Tetenal has its own 'Silverbook' range of photo books, which are hand made in Germany and involve use of traditional silver halide paper.

The unique element comes from the wide variety of covers, materials, and sizes available.
