Seeing the detail in these screen grabs is not as important as their showing just how sophisticated QuadTone RIP really is - normally you pay a lot of money for this level of sophistication!
QuadTone RIP
Developed by Roy Harrington this is a shareware product, they ask for a fee of $50, on trust, if you start to use the program. It is a good $50's worth if you enjoy tinkering with prints and curves and the underlying computer coding is quite superb - a RIP of this quality would normally cost you loads of dollars! We reviewed the product in May 2006. The support network is really good via a Yahoo Group
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DigitalBlackandWhiteThePrint. Much of the forum discussion concerns the use of 'all-black' ink sets such as those provided by MIS, also available from Permajet, Lyson and Fotospeed.
