In a perfect world these settings might be varied and explored but it would then be too complex forboth the user and the creator of the profiles. Although it was originally claimed by Epson that there was no difference between using profilesfor 1440 and 2880, it is noteworthy that they now publish profiles at both resolutions. In our tests we found small but measurable differences.

The Range
It is possible to split a large paper range such as this in many different ways (eg glosses, lustres, matts or Fine Art, textured, barytas - the list is almost endless). We havechosen to start with PermaJet's nomenclature and the main categories are shown in the table below.
