Single Servo AF is an autofocus mode in which the camera locks focus on a subject when the shutter release button is lightly pressed. Once focus is achieved, it remains fixed, allowing the photographer to recompose the shot without the camera adjusting focus again.
This mode is ideal for photographing stationary or slow-moving subjects, such as portraits or still life, where precise focus is critical. It provides control and consistency, helping photographers capture sharp, well-focused images.
