Craig tells us -

''This image is of Ekko the bearded collie. Taken at Reynisfjara beach in Iceland one very windy evening. With a dog like Ekko having long, luscious hair on a windy shoot really only leaves the option of embracing the elements! This image is a stitch from 8 frames and I wanted to edit it in a way that conveyed the feeling of being out in those elements. That’s why I went for the contrasty, grainy black and white treatment. For those who know Reynisfjara, you’ll probably notice a missing sea stack, its inclusion meant the image felt unbalanced. I debated so many times about it being in the image, whether to remain true to the location, or to do what was best for the image. in the end, I opted to do what was right for the composition and remove it to make the image feel balanced.''
