"My first major break came when my photograph of Ronald Reagan was published on the cover of Newsweek. I began working with Black Star, a photo agency in New York City, and the owner Howard Chapnick then became my next mentor, and for the next 30 years they represented me."
The list of achievements Rick can reel off demonstrates just how successful he's been in that time. For the past 30 years he's been travelling the world for numerous publications and corporations, his work appearing in the likes of Time, Newsweek, U.S. News, The New York Times, USA Today, The Guardian, Der Spiegel, Stern and Discover. He's also produced over 75 book and magazine covers, and he's currently the President of the Boston Press Photographers' Association.
