"For my workshop at the Convention I want to share knowledge of my location lighting techniques, which I've been refining since I started out in the 1970s. My class will be very hands on and interactive, and it will explore ways to create interesting light in a studio or on location. I start with one speedlite on-camera for portraits and then progress through using multiple speedlites and mixing speedlites with studio strobes.

"The session will be introducing many different practical applications, and my goal as an instructor will be to make the participants feel comfortable with lighting, and empowered to create any image no matter what situation may arise. I also want everyone to come away feeling happy and ready to go out and create."
